A review of Open Door Housing Association by Le cheval noir written on Tuesday 10th of November 2015
My review is base on my experience of being homeless for the first time and being in a new country. lost, and stressed, I find myself in this great accommodation in east Belfast. as I arrived in the premises, I could see a nice garden well maintain, a car parking, camera all over the place, I felt straight very secured. the staffs are the best staffs ever. as the realised that I was far away from home and alone, they treated me with respect. I felt home. as the time was passing they will encourage me to do training which I finally got a job, got a flat just behind the hostel. regardless that I moved in my own home, the staffs was always there for me. giving me some facilities. 4 years as passed, I moved in another house but still coming back in the hostel because that is where I fell home and that is my family. the manager is the top quality manager with experience of dealing with people. she makes you feel so safe.
in conclusion, the rooms was very functional and comfortable. my experience being a homeless women as being great and for people who are not sure about the hostel in Belfast I will just confirm how open door is one of the best accommodation and welcoming, secured environment..
