"Not worth it."

I joined the Ulster College of Music along with my daughter. I took saxophone lessons, she took violin lessons. Although I was just learning for a bit of fun, 6 months into lessons, I certainly wasn't having any. The teacher seemed totally unaware of virtually any of the music I wanted to learn, and instead tried to steer me towards classical standards... which were not my cup of tea. In the mean time, my daughter, who loved music, lost the love. Her violin teacher just completely put her off music, and now she only listens to chart toppers. This was not what I was paying for..
