"Great shop but don't eat here!"

I've been a regular customer of this shop for many years. It's got a lovely range of unique items from jewellery to home ware to furniture, kitchenware and gifts. I enjoy browsing and have made a number of purchases there.

However I would definitely not recommend the coffee shop after a visit there yesterday. The menu is limited (not normally a bad thing) but the service was slow and inefficient and the brunch was actually edible. Without going into all of the detail I will state that we did complain and asked for a reduction in cost which was made. We think retrospectively that we should have left without attempting to eat at all and have agreed that we will never return. I don't know how places like this can survive..
