A review of Royal Victoria Hospital by Paul Campbell written on Tuesday 26th of October 2021
Toward the end of August I was admitted to ward 7C at the RVH due to an infection in my big toe.
Unbeknownst to me the bone was exposed underneath the toe and subsequently I was informed that the toe would have to come off.
This was on the Thursday and I had the operation first thing on the Monday morning.
During my stay I was treated with the utmost respect by both doctors and nurses.
A night they took pains to reassure me that everything would be OK.
I can't praise the staff highly enough, especially when you think of the pressure they were under..
